Expertise & Methodology

Experience

I've started, run and sold an information intelligence product. I've been a product director for a public company as well as working in client facing roles. Throughout my career I have operated as the intersection of leadership, internal stakeholders, and clients — a connector and facilitator who drives initiatives from concept to outcome. This breadth of experience includes building advanced intelligence offerings and integrating AI tools into my workflow. However, delivering success has also necessitated a deeply human skillset along with industry insight.

Stakeholder Alignment

Dismantling operational silos and blockers by building communication, understanding to accelerate progression across global teams. This involves group and 1on1 meetings along with work on personal and professional interconnection skills.

Strategic Validation

Validating existing initiatives or uncovering new ideas. This can involve client and stakeholder panels and/or small group and 1on1 sessions.

Industry Insight

Supporting strategic decisions in the information intelligence industry. This involves meeting with key stakeholders to gather context and offer insight.

Successful Outcomes

Product migration

A project to migrate a product to a new platform. The client base had a long time reliance on the legacy platform, resistant to change. Internal stakeholders included different teams coming from the new and old platform. The migration had been stuck for months.

I was brought in and this stage and moved this project to a successful transition.

Predictive Tool Introduction

A new predictive tool was being developed and introduced to the market. This involved multiple internal stakeholders including: data science, technology development, sales, marketing, client and sales support along with leadership.

I was brought in to educate and connect internal teams as well as to promote to clients and new leadership. This tool was well received and remained a long time differentiator.

Initiative discontinuation

Sometimes what you don't do is as valuable as what you do.

In every industry millions of dollars are spent on projects that fail. Every day these projects are not closed is a day that wastes resources for other more promising initiatives.

I have been involved in several large projects that I helped close down,  saving money, but also helping to accelerate more promising ideas.
